Client: Africa’s Promise/NGO’s Focus (Non-Governmental Organizations Industry, Kenya)
Brief: Come up with an interesting concept for a new magazine to be published, focusing on Kenyan NGO’s, the difference they make at the grassroots.
Rence Interactive won the project of creative layout by Africa’s Promise’s NGO’s Focus team magazine, the publication that brings a fresh approach to how NGOs are run locally, the difference they make in Kenya, highlighting the “smaller” NGOs whose input in the community is little known, bringing the sector together and informing the uninformed. The key words in the project were fresh, original, unique and qualitative. The publication was to be the type that recipients keep rather than throw/give away, because of the type of content, the quality of print and the layout of the magazine.
